Lisa is an experienced employment attorney and litigator. She has helped countless startups and mid-size companies with legal compliance, hands-on training, and preventative strategies. She specializes in issues related to compensation, sexual harassment, retaliation, workforce expansion, worker classifications, overtime pay, disabilities, workplace policies, layoffs, employee terminations, and trade secrets.  Lisa has a very proactive approach; she focuses on helping companies establish efficient and effective employment law practices, thereby enabling them to focus exclusively on growing their companies without the stressful and unnecessary distraction of employment and related litigation.

Finally, if a dispute does arise, Lisa is highly experienced at litigating cases before federal courts, state courts, and other administrative bodies. This includes the California Labor Commissioner, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the California Department of Labor, amongst others. Lisa has also litigated other types of commercial disputes involving partnerships, collection matters, real estate claims, breach of contract, and fraud claims.
