David is an experienced civil and probate court litigation attorney.
David’s civil litigation cases primarily involve business, real estate, commercial, D&O, environmental, products liability, IP, employment, insurance coverage and bad faith, professional liability (trustee, real estate broker, insurance broker, accountant, D&O), and personal injury litigation.
David’s probate court litigation cases primarily involved trust, estate, power of attorney, conservatorship, real property, elder abuse litigation, and representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in contentious trust and estate administrations.
David’s experience also includes audit committees, D&O, risk management, and governance. David has served as the audit committee chair of a large nonprofit ($50 Million+), and on the boards of two other nonprofits. David is also a Certified Public Accountant (California, inactive), and is the author of Tate’s Excellent Audit Committee Guide which is updated regularly and is available at no cost to anyone who is interested in or involved with audit committees.
