Ayleen Lee has represented technology-driven companies for over 20 years in venture capital financings, intellectual property transactions, sales and distribution, development and manufacturing transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Ayleen’s clients include companies in the clean tech, semiconductor, software, life science, education and consumer products industries. She is also experienced in representing Japanese multinational companies in their financial and strategic investments in U.S. technology companies, licensing transactions, acquisitions of intellectual property rights, distribution transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.
Entrepreneurs seek Ayleen’s counsel regarding the formation of their companies, the structure of the founding team, compensation, angel and venture capital investments, and intellectual property issues. She has served as a mentor at the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES) and as a volunteer attorney at the San Jose BioCenter.
Ayleen’s legal skills are complemented by her experience as the founder and president of an educational products company and a specialty gifts company. Prior to joining Royse Law Firm PC, Ayleen practiced in the corporate and technology transactions group in the Palo Alto office of Dorsey & Whitney, LLP.
